Impar.IA.mo Artificial Intelligence by Playing
The goal is to develop a training program for teachers in several schools in Piedmont to spread knowledge of Artificial Intelligence in primary and middle schools. The method used encourages conscious learning of this technology through unplugged activities that do not require expensive devices, only low‑cost materials, and can be combined with programming lessons to learn how to code a small robot.

Make research shine
The goal is to design an artificial‑diamond biosensor to study the behavior of cells exposed to radiation. The human body is exposed to radiation both naturally and during diagnostic tests and therapies (X‑rays, CT scans, radiotherapy, nuclear medicine techniques for treating tumors). To safeguard health and improve these medical techniques, it is essential to understand more deeply the effects of radiation on our cells.

Let’s save the singing lemur of Madagascar
The singing lemur (indri), the only lemur that communicates through true song, is critically endangered and cannot survive in zoos, so it must be protected in its natural habitat. The project’s goal was to train and equip local rangers, who use song to monitor indris, and to support the work of ethologists and primatologists. Thanks to collaboration with UniTo students, the project also offers them the opportunity for a formative experience in Madagascar.
