Documentation and forms
Before submitting applications to the University, please carefully read the regulations and deadlines approved by the Academic Senate.
As specified in Circular no. 29/E of 1 June 2005 issued by the Italian Revenue Agency, applications submitted to the University and certificates issued by the University are subject to stamp duty.
In this section, application forms are available in editable PDF format. To ensure readability and speed up processing times, forms must be completed electronically. Once completed, the form must be signed and submitted to the Student Registry Offices via the Help desk.
To request a duplicate of the student record booklet, study record booklet or degree parchment, please submit the relevant application to the Student Registry Offices, attaching a statutory declaration attesting to the loss, theft or damage and, in the case of damage only, the degree parchment previously issued.
Interruption of studies and withdrawal from studies are not synonymous.
You may apply for an interruption of studies if you are enrolled in degree programmes regulated by Ministerial Decrees no. 509/1999 and no. 270/2004.
If you are enrolled in a restricted-access degree programme regulated by the above-mentioned Ministerial Decrees and you submit an application for interruption of studies, you will lose the place obtained by passing the admission test. Should you later wish to reactivate your academic career, you will be required to sit and pass the relevant admission test again.
If you are enrolled in a degree programme with free admission and decide to interrupt your academic career, you may reactivate it under the conditions set out in the Student Career Regulations.
You may apply for withdrawal from studies if you are still enrolled in a degree programme under the pre-reform system (regulated prior to Ministerial Decrees no. 509/1999 and no. 270/2004) or in a Specialisation School.
Withdrawal from studies is unconditional and irrevocable for all degree programmes.
Interruption of studies or withdrawal from studies is only permitted if you have no outstanding debts of any kind with the University or with EDISU Piemonte.
If you are a non-EU student holding a residence permit for study purposes, please note that, pursuant to the Consolidated Act on Immigration (Legislative Decree no. 286 of 25 July 1998, as amended), as clearly specified in the annual Ministerial Circular issued by the Ministry of University and Research concerning procedures for entry, stay and enrolment of international students and the recognition of qualifications for higher education courses in Italy, you will not be able to use the visa and residence permit for study purposes issued for your previous enrolment to apply for a new enrolment in another degree programme at the same or another University.
Furthermore, the formalisation of withdrawal from studies results in the loss of the requirements for lawful stay in Italy and, consequently, the revocation of the residence permit and the obligation to leave the national territory.
To apply for interruption of studies or withdrawal from studies, you must complete the relevant application form and submit it to your Student Registry Office via the Help desk. service.
Before completing the form, please consult the Student Career Regulations, in particular Articles 12.3, 14 and 23 if you intend to interrupt your studies, or Articles 12.3, 15 and 24 if you intend to withdraw from studies.
You can enrol in a single course (single course) without having to enrol in the degree programme that awards the relevant academic qualification. Applications and payments must be submitted by the deadlines set out in the student handbook (available at the top of the page).
To apply for a change of location/degree regulations, you must complete the relevant application form and submit it to your Student Registry Office, together with your student record book (if you enrolled before the 2012–2013 academic year), the request for validation of the examinations taken, and copies of the course syllabi for which validation is requested (the latter only if required by the destination degree programme).
The procedure for transferring to another university can be found on the dedicated page.
