Access to MyUniTo for Specialisation School Students and to online services
SCU credentials (Unified Credentials System), consisting of a username and password, allow you to access your reserved MyUniTo area and a wide range of online services offered by the University of Turin that are useful for your academic career. In particular, you will be able to:
- access a staff webmail account to be used for institutional communications;
- use online services related to teaching and learning activities;
- connect free of charge to the Wi-Fi network available at the various University locations;
- access services for medical residents.
As a medical resident, you are provided with two sets of credentials: one as a student and one as staff, to be used depending on the type of service you wish to access.
Credentials are strictly personal and must be safeguarded with the same care as a bank card PIN.
What are my SCU credentials?
- Staff credentials
Username: generally (except in cases of double first names, double surnames or homonymy), the username consists of the first letter of the first name followed by the letters of the surname, up to a maximum of 8 characters
(e.g. for the user Mario Rossettini, the username will be mrossett).
Student credentials
If you enrolled from academic year 2008–2009 onwards and graduated from the University of Turin:
Username: your student ID number associated with your most recent academic career.If you enrolled from academic year 2008–2009 onwards and did not graduate from the University of Turin
Username: name.surname or name.surname123 (in case of homonymy), assigned after registering on the University portal.If you enrolled before academic year 2008–2009
Username: your student ID number.
Access as a medical resident (student)
If you were already enrolled as a student at the University of Turin, you will keep your existing student credentials.
Therefore, even if your student ID number changes when enrolling in a specialisation programme, your login username remains the same.If you have never been enrolled at the University of Turin, you must use the credentials obtained after registering on the University portal.
