A tu per tu: welcome and supports for the attendance and exams for freshers with disability
New procedures for accepting and submitting requests for support, exclusively for new students starting in the academic year 2023-2024
All UniTo students with disabilities, whether they attend courses at the main campus or at other locations, can benefit from dedicated support services and adjustments to study and assessment methods in accordance with Laws 104/92 and 17/99, while maintaining the same learning objectives.
Starting in the 2023-2024 academic year, a new tool has been designed to help you assess your needs and make specific requests, both for studying and attending courses, and for university exams: the A TU PER TU (Individualized Agreement at UniTo for University Support) document.
A TU PER TU is a summary document, produced in collaboration with the Student Inclusion Services Section and issued to you, which contains a list of the support services you can use and the compensatory tools and dispensatory measures you can request during exams. You must always use A TU PER TU when contacting teachers.
To obtain the A TU PER TU, you must send an email to [email protected] containing:
- your disability certification, pursuant to Law 104/92 (if it has not already been submitted for the entrance tests)
- fill out the Intake Form (italian version)
- wait for the appointment you will be given for an interview.

How to request compensatory tools and dispensatory measures during exams
At the beginning of each course, you can talk to your teachers to discuss your learning needs for the lessons and in view of the exam.
To take exams with the support of compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures, approximately 15 working days before the exam date, you must:
- send an email to the teacher, copying in (Cc.) the address: [email protected]
- attach the A TU PER TU form to the email, filling in the appropriate attachment with your specific requests for each exam. It is not necessary to attach your disability certificate
- the teacher will review your request, taking into account the necessary support measures as well as the specific objectives of the course.
