Call UNITA Advanced Tech Transfer Grants

UNITA has launched the Advanced Tech Transfer Grants Call, a funding scheme designed to support inter-university innovation projects that are ready to move from a validated proof of concept to the development of functional prototypes and demonstration activities.

To present the call and provide practical guidance on the application process, an online informational webinar will be held on 22nd June 2026 at 1:00 p.m. CET. The webinar is open to academics, researchers, and staff interested in developing technology transfer activities within the framework of the UNITA Alliance.

The call will fund up to six projects, with a maximum grant of €14,466.66 per project, supporting initiatives currently positioned at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 4 and aiming to reach at least TRL 6 by the end of the implementation period.

Proposals must involve at least two UNITA partner universities from different countries and should be aligned with regional Smart Specialisation Strategies as well as the thematic priorities of the UNITA Research & Innovation Hubs. Particular attention will also be given to projects involving external stakeholders and presenting a clear strategy for innovation, market validation, and knowledge transfer.
