Publish your thesis on PubbliTesi
PubbliTesi is a document management system developed by the CNR (National Research Council) with the support of the MUR (Ministry of University and Research), aimed at collecting and disseminating electronically the best degree theses (second level, single cycle or old system) and doctoral theses presented at Italian universities.
The initiative aims to highlight the wealth of ideas, creativity and research contained in the best theses and to connect it with the social and productive fabric of the country, also in relation to the current scenarios of global competitiveness.
Who can request publication
Those who have obtained a degree and have achieved the highest marks (110 cum laude) in their exams with dignity of printing are entitled to have their thesis published electronically.
How to request publication
When the Commission grants the thesis the status of publication, the author of the thesis, if interested in the PubbliTesi initiative, must complete the publication authorisation request form in its entirety.
The form must be signed by the President of the Commission, the thesis supervisor and the author.
The author retains the original (which must be kept) and produces two copies, of which:
- one to be delivered to the supervisor
- one to be sent by post, fax or email (as a scanned copy) to the PubbliTesi Secretariat, authorising the processing and publication of data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation or “GDPR”).
At the same time (or even immediately before) sending the form to the PubbliTesi Secretariat, the author must register on the PubbliTesi website, in accordance with the procedures set out in the Regulations.
Please note that the author may publish an abstract, in addition to or in place of the thesis.
PubbliTesi for Companies, Institutions, Research Institutes
The national database of the PubbliTesi system can be consulted, with the authorisation of the PubbliTesi secretariat, by users such as companies, organisations and research institutes through “structured” and “full text” searches.
This is an opportunity for visibility that allows authors to get in touch with work opportunities in both the research and business fields.
To consult the database, follow the path: Home / Modalità di consultazione (How to consult).
