The software can be used by university staff and students.
How to obtain it
You can request the software in one of the following ways:
- by opening a ticket on the UniTo Service Desk system
- by contacting the ICT Team at your campus (staff only).

On the Stata Corporation YouTube channel, you can find a series of tutorials on how to perform various biostatistics, econometrics, and statistics tasks in Stata.

User manuals
During software installation, the complete documentation (in .pdf format and consisting of 31 manuals and more than 15,000 pages) will be automatically stored in the c:/programmes/Stata16/docs folder (Windows environment) or in the Applications/Stata/docs folder (Ois environment).
The Getting Started with Stata manual, available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, contains a brief and useful introduction to using the software.
