MSCA@UniTo

MSCA@UniTo offers postdoctoral researchers the opportunity to apply for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions postdoctoral fellowship (MSCA-PF) choosing the University of Turin as host organisation.

Participants are selected to join a free programme designed to:

  • inform on the MSCA-PF funding scheme and its opportunities
  • train on how to write a successful proposal and address key research issues
  • support the whole proposal writing process, until the submission, by involving specifically trained research managers and administrative professionals.

The programme is structured around training activities and individual proposal-writing support

The training includes:

  • Summer School (3rd-5th June 2026) on proposal writing: up to 25 candidates will be invited to attend the three-days training in person. Candidates who do not attend in person will be invited to join the training online

  • online training sessions on Open Science and Data Management Plan (dates to be defined).

Once the training is completed, candidates will gain access to individual writing support. Highly specialised research managers from the University of Turin will support candidates throughout the entire proposal development process, up to submission.

Participation in the training is mandatory in order to access the individual writing support. For details on application procedures and eligibility criteria, please refer to the sections below.

Below is a list of the training programme features:

  • it is specifically built to enhance the skills of the selected researchers
  • candidates will learn how to write a successful MSCA-PF proposal, with practical activities on proposal. The training will focus on different topics, including addressing key research issues or Open Science
  • the MSCA@UniTo support measures, provided by UniTo professional experts in the MSCA-PF funding scheme, will accompany the candidates to the proposal submission.

The final calendar for the 2026 edition is currently being defined and will be made public and shared after the MSCA Infoday on April 10th.

Candidates must meet the requirements of the MSCA-PF call. MSCA@UniTo 2026 training and support programme is open to postdoctoral researchers from all over the world that:

  • have a maximum of eight years of experience in research from the date of the award of the PhD degree
  • comply with mobility rules: they must not have resided or carried out their main activity (work, studies, etc.) in the country of the beneficiary (for European Postdoctoral Fellowships) or the host organisation for the outgoing phase (for global postdoctoral fellowships) for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline.

No nationality or age restrictions are foreseen. All research areas can be funded. Some exceptions and specific conditions apply.
