Exams
General information about exams
To assess your preparation for each course included in your study plan, you must take an exam (oral and/or written, or a test), held during the exam sessions scheduled in the academic calendar of your degree programme. Exam sessions are called "Appelli". To sit an exam, you must register online choosing from a range of dates available in each exam session. Registration is mandatory. You find out the exam sessions in which you can take your exams on your degree program website.
As a general rule, for each course you can choose from two or three exam dates included within the set timeframe for both the first and second semester. This means that if you fail an exam, or you are not satisfied with the result, you can usually retake it.
The general exam sessions schedule page shows the list of all “appelli” of all courses scheduled by each Department. The Bacheca “appelli” does not allow you to register for an exam. It is a useful tool to check information on the exam sessions.
After authentication, the Examination Record book allows you to register for exams.
