Spaces for Silence and Spirituality

Quiet rooms have been gaining popularity in various public and workplace settings for some time now. Quiet rooms are a physical space for sharing, welcoming those who wish to dedicate themselves to reflection, prayer, and meditation, offering a tangible sign of promoting dialogue, the appreciation of diversity, and inclusion.

The University of Turin has opened its first quiet room at the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, which, among the actions of its 2022-2024 three-year plan, has also set the goal of promoting an inclusive and functional environment, suited to supporting the needs of the international community of students and teachers.

This space is located at the Department of Clinical and Biological Sciences, c/o the San Luigi Gonzaga University Hospital of Orbassano (Regione Gonzole, 10, 10043 Orbassano), on the ground floor of the teaching centre, corridor Aule Treno (study rooms) and can be accessed freely.
