Accompanying students to university facilities
Support is given by students who have been awarded a study grant.
The service consists in the physical accompanying to the various university facilities and to all those structures where didactic activities take place, for students with mobility and/or visual impairments. Meeting points can be to and from university residences, bus terminals, railway stations, private houses etc, only within the district of Turin, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The service can be requested for a possible lunch break between morning and afternoon classes, only by those who are not able to eat on their own.
Your needs must be agreed upon jointly with a companion who will be assigned to you on a semi-annual basis by the Office, arranging in advance all requests/changes etc. with a minimum of 48 hours notice. The time slot of your requests must follow exclusively the schedule of classes/exams etc.
In order to request the service it is necessary to send an e-mail to: [email protected], by September 15 (for the first semester) and by February 15 (for the second semester).
University of Turin reserves the right to approve or reject the requests, depending on the available resources and their real benefits, proceeding with any necessary verification.
The continuity of the services is subject to passing the exams.
