We promote various forms of sustainable mobility as part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and put forward initiatives aimed at encouraging the use of public, shared, and non-motorized transport.
Discounts on local public transport
We support the right to education and sustainable mobility by reimbursing subscriptions to GTT transport services and other operators.
The University of Turin has joined "Piemove – Piemonte Viaggia Studia", an initiative promoted by the Piedmont Region to encourage sustainable mobility among young people and to promote the use of local public transport.
We have agreed with GTT on a discounted fare for local public transport subscriptions.
Trenitalia for business - Welfare Plus Discount
Do you study or work at UniTo? You are entitled to a discount on your private travel.
The University of Turin continues its journey towards environmental sustainability with initiatives that benefit its community: as part of its mobility management policies and concessions for those who work in various capacities at the University, UniTo promotes the use of trains for university community travel through discounted fares.
Thanks to the Trenitalia for Business programme, Trenitalia will reserve the Welfare PLUS offer for those who study and work at UniTo, a special discount valid for the purchase of tickets for private travel by the university community.
