Access to MyUniTo for students and to online services

After registering on the unito.it portal and completing your enrolment, you will receive your SCU (Unified Credentials System) credentials, consisting of a username and password, which will allow you to access your MyUniTO reserved area and a whole range of online services offered by the University of Turin that will be useful for your university career.

In particular:

  • you can use the online administrative services
  • you can register for exams and consult the exam dates
  • you will be able to browse your career plan
  • you will have access to an institutional webmail account used by the University to send communications to students
  • you can connect to the WiFi available at the various university locations free of charge

Your credentials are strictly personal and must be kept as securely as your ATM PIN code.

What are my SCU credentials?

If you enrolled starting from the 2008-2009 academic year:

  • username: corresponds to firstname.lastname or firstname.lastname123 (in case of homonymy)

If you enrolled before the 2008-2009 academic year:

  • username: generally corresponds to your student ID number

If you have already been enrolled at the University of Turin and wish to enrol in a new degree programme, in years subsequent to the first, in a master's degree or doctorate, keep the credentials you already have
The username remains the same even when moving from a bachelor's degree to a master's degree, unless there are specific changes.

What if I forget my password or want to change it?

If you cannot remember the password you chose, you can use the Remind me of my password service.
You can change your password from MyUniTo - Profile management and password change.

What happens when I finish my studies?

Access to online services and authentication credentials (username and password) will be disabled if you are no longer enrolled in a course.

  • If you have completed your studies (obtained your qualification) within 24 months of the end of the course, your credentials will be deactivated.
  • If you have not completed your studies (no degree obtained) within 3 months of the end of your studies, your credentials will be deactivated.

At the same time as deactivation, your institutional Google account (Email, Drive, etc.) will be deleted.

If you are a graduate, we suggest you consult the information on the page:

After one year of the student not being regularly enrolled (i.e. not being up to date with fees), Office 365 services will be disabled and content will be deleted.
