PhD competition results

PhD competition results for admission to the 36th cycle are available starting from 28th July 2020 under the page of each PhD programme. Please check the PhD programme specific page in which you applied for.  

 

If successful, please kindly check the deadline within you should enrol. If you do not enrol within the advertised deadline in the final ranking list, you will loose your rights on both position and scholarship.

 

Positions are offered starting from the candidate who obtained the highest score in the examinations. Candidates are admitted to PhD programmes until all available positions (with or without scholarship) are covered.

  • Admitted with scholarship (Italian: "vincitore con borsa"): your application was successful and you have been awarded a scholarship. You can now enrol.
  • Admitted without scholarship (Italian: "vincitore senza borsa"): your application was successful however you have not been awarded a scholarship. You can now enrol.
  • Qualified (Italian: "idoneo"): this means that, even though you have obtained a sufficient score and you are eligible for admission to the PhD programme, all available positions have been assigned. Should a candidate decline the offer of a position, qualified candidates will be contacted by email according to their position in the final ranking list.

If you want to decline the offer of a position, you must let us know of your decision by writing to dottorati@unito.it within the advertised deadline.

Accept your position and enrol

To enrol you must accept the position and upload the requested documentation.

Within the advertised deadline that you find on the final merit-ranking list, you have to confirm your acceptance and enrol online following the instructions available in the Guidelines for enrolment

 

Uploading the documentation

On the same on-line procedure, successful applicants holding international qualifications must upload the following documentation:       

  1. enrolment form (form A)
  2. bank account details (form B)
  3. declaration about job activities (form C)
  4. a photocopy of Italian Tax Code (Codice Fiscale)
  5. original or certified copies of Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree
  6. original or certified copies of Bachelor’s and Master’s transcripts
  7. original or certified copy of the "Dichiarazione di valore in loco" or Diploma Supplement (as per art. 3, point 3).

Please notice that degree documents (points 5-7) need to be uploaded in one single PDF file

 

Payment of the tuition fees

Within the advertised dealine, you have to pay the tuition fees (€ 169,50) for enrolment to the PhD Programmes, as set out in the University Regulation of Taxes and Contribution: you can pay the invoice through PagoPA online system (should you be admitted without scholarship, before paying the tuition fees please contact the PhD Office for instruction: dottorati@unito.it).

 

In order to complete the enrolment, please note that original documents must be handed in to the PhD Office upon arrival in Italy: it is necessary to contact the PhD office (dottorati@unito.it) and set a meeting to complete the enrolment not later than the 20th September 2020.

 

Successful applicants who applied under the condition to achieve their international qualification within 31 st October 2020 must communicate to dottorati@unito.it to have achieved the qualification, by submitting Annex 3 not later than 31st October 2020.

 

Please note that it is mandatory to register to the INPS Gestione Separata (National Institute for Social Security) starting from the 1st October 2020. To register you must follow the instructions in the document below:

Accept your position and enrol
