Third seminar in the series "Science Diplomacy and the Transformation of the International Order”

The University of Turin, through the UniTo Hub on Science Diplomacy and in collaboration with the Ferdinando Rossi School of Advanced Studies, is organising the third seminar in the seriesScience Diplomacy and the Transformation of the International Order” (8th June 2026 - Rectorate Main Hall, Via Verdi 8 - Torino).

Partners of the initiative include the Fondazione CSF, the Student Movement for International Organization (M.S.O.I.), and the European university alliance UNITA – Universitas Montium.

In a global context marked by geopolitical transformations, technological competition and new forms of cooperation, science diplomacy is emerging as a strategic tool to understand and govern change.

The series features three events – 18th and 25th May, 8th June 2026 – dedicated respectively to the role of universities in international relations, to science diplomacy in action, and to the challenges of cooperation and decolonisation within global knowledge systems.

With contributions from experts from UniTo, national institutions and international organisations, the initiative offers a space for dialogue open to the student community, with the aim of fostering critical reflection on the role of science in shaping today’s international order.

An Open Badge certifying the competencies acquired during the seminar series will be awarded to participants attending at least 2 out of 3 seminars.
