Just The Woman I am 2026

In-person
Period of event:
Da Friday 6 March 2026 a Sunday 8 March 2026

Registrations officially opened for the thirteenth edition of Just The Woman I Am 2026, the event that since 2014, through a 5 km run - walk open to all and everyone, raises funds for university research on health and cancer and promotes prevention, correct lifestyles, inclusion and gender equality.

The event, organised by the University Sports Centre of Turin in collaboration with the University and the Polytechnic of Turin, returns on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th March 2026. From Friday to Sunday, in Piazza Castello and Piazzetta Reale in Turin, it is possible to access Prevention Village: an event within the event that hosts stands dedicated to free preventive examinationscounselling and the presentation of non-profit associations

On Sunday 8th March, the famous 5 km run/walk kicks off from Valentino Park (the starting point has been moved compared to 2025 and will take place on Viale Mattioli at the corner of Viale Crivelli, Corso Marconi side) an event of national and international resonance capable of uniting the many hearts of JTWIA.

This year, Just for Pet is launched, a project that celebrates and supports the profound bond between humans and animals, promoting the human-animal relationship and placing particular emphasis on prevention and therapeutic support, especially for cancer patients. During the event, you can also register your pet, making a tangible contribution to the project and its charitable purpose. The specific goal of Just for Pet is to raise funds for a scholarship for a young researcher from the Department of Veterinary Sciences, to support research and scientific training dedicated to animal welfare.

2026 also marks the launch of the Just Virtual Runs, with events in Milan (14 March), Rome (21 March), and Paris (11 April): opportunities to meet and share experiences while walking or running together, strengthening an ever-growing and increasingly international community united by the same values of empathy, solidarity, and support for research, care, and prevention.
