From Monday 1 September 2025 at 9:00am, to Saturday 6 September 2025 at 6:00pm

From Monday 1st September 2025, starting at 9:00 a.m. at the Department of Earth Sciences (Via Valperga Caluso 35 – Turin), the 37th Himalaya-Karakoram-Tibet (HKT) workshop takes place, an international conference organised by the Himalayan Geology Section of the Italian Geological Society and the Department of Earth Sciences of the University of Turin.

From 2nd to 4th September, the Department of Life Sciences and Systems Biology (via Accademia Albertina 13) hosts scientific sessions on Geology, Tectonics, Palaeontology, Petrology, Seismicity, Geomorphology, Glaciers, Water resources and Climate change.

On 5th and 6th September, participants will take part in an excursion to the Western Alps, focusing on the CARG project and the geology of Monviso and Valle Germanasca.
